Ellie Jane Goulding is a British citizen born on the 30th of December 1986. Her mother Tracey Goulding-Summers worked at a supermarket and her father Arthur Goulding was a member of an undertaker family. Goulding has three children: one sister Isabel whom is more senior, a brother Alex and another sister Jordan. Alex his brother is an accomplished bassist and Hereford band members. Alex was encouraged by her mother to pursue a musical education at the age of a small girl. Clarinet was her first instrument when she turned nine.
